Debian 13 (codename "Trixie") is the latest stable release of Debian. Key highlights:

- Ships with Linux kernel 6.12, GCC 14.2, glibc 2.41, OpenSSL 3.4

Rocky Linux 10 "Red Quartz" – What's New
Rocky Linux 10.0, released in June 2025, is the next-gen RHEL-compatible enterprise OS. Highlights:
- x86-64-v3 CPU required (modern CPU baseline)
- Available for x86_64, aarch64, ppc64le, s390x, and now riscv64
- Fully 64-bit: No 32-bit packages
- Wayland is now default display server; RDP replaces VNC for remote GUI
- Updated packages: PHP 8.3, Python 3.12, PostgreSQL 16.8, MariaDB 10.11, Go 1.23, Rust 1.84.1
