Hizakura B.V. adheres to the principles relating to the processing of personal data as outlined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This includes:

  • Processing data lawfully, fairly, and transparently.
  • Collecting data for specified, legitimate purposes and not processing it in ways incompatible with those purposes.
  • Ensuring data is accurate, kept up to date, and held no longer than necessary.
  • Ensuring appropriate security of the personal data.

Rights of the Data Subject

We respect the rights of data subjects as stipulated in the GDPR. Users have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of their personal data. They also have the right to data portability.

Data Protection Measures

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to potential risks, including:

  • Regular assessments and evaluation of the effectiveness of our technical and organizational measures.
  • Employee training on data protection best practices.
  • All data stored exclusively in the EU (Amsterdam, Netherlands). No cross-border transfers outside the EU/EEA.
  • KVM isolation, daily remote backups, network monitoring, and DDoS protection.

Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

A Data Processing Agreement is available for all customers. The DPA outlines our obligations as a data processor under Article 28 of the GDPR, including sub-processor disclosures, security measures, breach notification procedures, and data retention policies.
