We’re excited to announce that our official Mastodon account has moved!
The QDE team’s presence on the Fediverse is now at:
Our old account @qde@c.im has been fully migrated, including all followers, so if you were already following us, you don’t need to do anything!
We decided to host our own Mastodon instance to strengthen our commitment to privacy, autonomy, and reliability.
Running our own infrastructure means:
By managing everything ourselves, we can ensure the best experience for our community while staying true to our principles of openness and independence.
qde.social is our self-hosted Mastodon instance, part of the wider Fediverse.
It’s built and maintained by the QDE team, using our own hosting infrastructure under Hizakura B.V. and operated from our Amsterdam data center.
Our goal is to create a fast, reliable, and privacy-respecting home for our social updates, where we can directly interact with our community without third-party dependencies.
From now on, all announcements, updates, and behind-the-scenes stories will be posted from @qde@qde.social.
